After taking several hundred photos in the morning I caught up with a friend for lunch. We agreed on a sandwich bar researched on Foursquare. The sandwich was good, but the coffee was amazing.
Barcelona Museums
There are a lot of museums in Barcelona, far more than we could see in a few days, but there were two we did plan to visit. The first was the Picasso Museum, and the second was theย Barcelona City History Museum.

Rainy Tokyo Musems
There are quite a few museums in Tokyo, we only made it to two on different days. The first was visited was the Tokyo National Museum. We took the train into town using our JR passes. At the station we managed to spot a desk with helpful people selling tickets to all the museums in the area. I pointed my phone at the handwritten signs to work out exactly what they were selling. We then walked through the park in the rain to the museum armed with our tickets. My Hong Kong umbrella served me well.
Amsterdam
We filled up on buffet breakfast in the hotel before catching a taxi into town. We wanted to get to the museums early before all the crowds came. Booking the tickets online was good move, it meant we could skip most of the queues.
Day 8 – Last day in Lucknow
In the morning we decided to walk down to the botanical gardens. It was only a few hundred metres down the road, so how could we get lost? We stepped out of the hotel and all headed left, except Mum who thought it was right. While rickshaw drivers swarmed I waited for a GPS lock to confirm the direction we should have been heading. Left.
